How To Sync Huawei Watch To Samsung Health
Huawei Health and Samsung Health don’t sync directly, but you can use a third-party app called Health Sync to bridge the two.
Setup Steps:
- Install Huawei Health from Huawei AppGallery.
- Sign in with your Huawei ID.
- Go to:
Huawei Health → Me → Settings → Privacy management → Data sharing and authorization → Enable Huawei Health Kit. - Install Health Sync from the Google Play Store.
- Open Health Sync and select:
Source: Huawei Health
Destination: Samsung Health - Grant all requested permissions.
- Choose which data to sync (exercise, sleep, heart rate, etc.).
- (Optional) Enable historical sync in settings. Health Sync syncs in ~2–3 week chunks with 15-minute intervals.
Sync Limitations:
- Step count usually does NOT sync into Samsung Health due to restrictions.
- GPS-based workouts, heart rate, sleep, and activity data often sync fine.
- Some historical data sync options may require a one-time purchase.
Trouble Shooting Tips:
- If sync fails, check that both apps have all necessary permissions on your phone.
- Look out for error messages and give the sync button time—Health Sync batches data with internal delays.
✅ Tips:
- Set automatic sync (15+ minutes apart) to pull in older data.
- Make sure both Huawei Health and Health Sync have battery optimization disabled and all background permissions enabled.
- Keep all apps up to date.
