To sync Huawei Health with Samsung Health, you’ll need to use a third-party app like Health Sync—there’s no native integration built into either app.
What You Can and Can’t Sync
According to users and official docs:
- Health Sync can transfer heart rate, sleep, oxygen saturation, and workout activities (including GPS tracked runs/rides) from Huawei Health → Samsung Health
- Steps data cannot be written into Samsung Health; Samsung restricted this in 2020, so steps will not sync over
Step‑by‑Step Instructions Using Health Sync
- Install Huawei Health on your Android phone (via AppGallery or official source).
- Sign in with your Huawei ID and enable Huawei Health Kit in Settings → Privacy/Data sharing
- Download Health Sync from Google Play.
- Launch Health Sync and select: makefileCopyEdit
Source: Huawei Health Destination: Samsung Health - Grant all required permissions in both Huawei and Samsung apps.
- Activate both “Historical data sync” (if you want past data) and routine background sync.
- Users report historical sync proceeds in blocks of ~2–3 weeks at a time (every ~15 minutes) until fully transferred
- After setup, tap Sync in Health Sync to begin. Check sync status in the app.

Important Notes
- Steps cannot be synced into Samsung Health due to Samsung restrictions—even if Health Sync shows “Sync OK”
- As of July 2023, Huawei declared that third-party apps may be blocked from accessing GPS from Huawei Health. While this hasn’t been strictly enforced yet, syncing GPS data might be affected in the future.
- A one-week trial of Health Sync is free, after that a one-time payment or a subscription is required to continue syncing or enable historical data syncing
